David L. Jacobson & Associates, Ltd. employs a full time staff of Structural and Civil Engineers and Technicians. Each staff member brings skills and experiences that are distinctive to that individual’s background, and complementary to each other. The diversity our staff brings to the workplace enables us to undertake all types of projects, from the commonplace to the unique.
Our staff is proficient in computer programming, computer aided drafting (CAD), computer aided engineering (CAE), finite element programming and modeling, design of cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and aluminum structures. We are also experienced in specialized building foundation systems such as caisson design, pile design, mat foundations and underpinning systems, as well as industrial equipment foundations and crane installations. For over fifteen years we have been designing various retaining wall systems as well, including segmental, cast-in-place concrete, soldier and sheet pile - anchored and cantilevered systems.
